Walking Mule Sketch

This is a drawing I made of one of the mules while she was being worked in the arena. I’m getting a bit better at drawing moving animals, but my general grasp of equine anatomy is pretty poor. This is one of the same mules featured in Sola’s website—there are a number of photos there, particularly in the articles section. My mule looks rather cartoony, and the legs are longer in the front than I’d hope; the proportions are bizarre. Getting better, though!
