A bit of this and a bit of that. Jim-san successfully bugged me… semi-successfully, I should say, since it wasn’t today that he bugged me. Oh well. Here’s a few sketches and things, and I’ll be posting one other.

This is a work in progress, as I want to finish this piece out. Inspiration finally struck on my way home from printmaking today as I was staring at a red stop-light.

My bubbles need work. I particularly like how the hair turned out and I feel I’m making a little progress on ears as well.

Our final project in printmaking is to make a print X amount of times, where X is equal to the number of students in the class. Each student will receive one print from every other student and make a book out of them. The theme chosen by the class was self-caricatures. I tried the traditional caricature for awhile, but failed miserably. You will be spared the aftermath of that. Here is a South Park styled caricature of myself, equipped with cheesy grin, cowlick, and laptop carrying case.

Back from vacation today, both literally and artistically, and decided to give my previous eye studies a home.

I’ve just been sleeping. And then there was Thanksgiving, and then the day-after-Thanksgiving, and my cousin was in town, and well. Here I am now. Sorry about that lapse. I don’t have a lot for you, given the incredible span of time that has gone past since you last heard from me, but I’ve got tidbits from a few projects. Here you go, then!

Just another in the series.
I’ll be up in Albany for Thanksgiving, and apparently the place I’m moving to has no internet, so my posting may be sporadic. On the bright side, I’ll probably have a ridiculous amount of time to draw with no distraction. Heh.
