Animals are hard to draw…. I’m glad that you are attempting them and not me! haha. I like the motion that you gave him, and you’re going to kick me for this because I will sound like Pam, but he is floating… Which is cool because turtles can swim! Maybe he is tired of swimming and that is why he is grumpy. lol. I like this one.

None of the above. I forgot to mention that this is the amazing magical fly.. floating ..turtle.

I had wanted to spend more time on the mid-shell area (between the legs) and add more contrast/shading all around, but I was so tired last night I almost didn’t do a drawing at all! I also forgot to mention that this was drawn using a reference. Hopefully I’ll get the anatomy down soon enough so that I can draw the lil’ guys freestyle.
